Cathy's passion for radio was born with the foundation of Radio Italia Uno, where her roots in the Italian community found a new pathway, communicating and easily establishing great relationships of trust and friendship with her listeners. Cathy is currently the manager of the Marche Club, of which she was also president for 12 years, at the time the first woman in Australia to be elected president of a regional club.
Here at Radio Italia Uno Cathy and husband Vincenzo Papandrea are the conductors of Sottovoce, a program that listeners have
renamed "The most beautiful couple in the world". Sottovoce focuses on the music and singers of the '50s /' 60s / '70s, enriched by interviews with new Italian immigrants and local personalities in music.
Cathy is also a qualified homoeopath and has practised professionally for many years, thus the program includes the segment "Wellness" with alternative medicine tips. This segment arouses great interest in listeners, who interact through various requests for explanations and advice.
Sottovoce airs every Tuesday from 14.30 to 16.30.
